Answers to the common questions

No quantity minimum. We don't require 12, 24, or 48 pieces the way most shops do. Our only rule is a $20 order minimum (one tee with a 1-color print already clears it, as does a single embroidered hoodie). Small runs get the same production quality as 500-piece runs. No setup fees, no screen fees.

Yes — the per-piece price drops automatically at 6, 12, 24, 48, 100 and 250 pieces (see Pricing). 250+ pieces are priced right in the cart: $7 printed or $9 embroidered on a Gildan 5000. The cart prices every quantity; for 500+ pieces you can also email orders@harborsideprint.com and we'll quote.

You pay at checkout when you place your order. Within 24 hours on business days we email a free digital proof; request changes (two rounds of revisions are included) and nothing prints until you approve it. If you cancel before approving, the refund depends on whether design work has started — see the next answer and our refund policy.

Every order includes one design concept and two rounds of revisions — change the colour, the size, the placement, the font, and we'll send an updated proof. Extra rounds beyond those two are quoted before we do them.

Cancel before we start your design and you get 100% back. Cancel after design has begun but before you approve and we refund everything except a $25 design and prepress fee for the time already spent. Once you approve your proof the order goes to press and can't be cancelled. Full terms on our refund page.

If your order doesn't match the proof you approved, we reprint it or refund it. That's the point of the proof — what you approve is what you get.

Standard production is 4 business days from proof approval, for every method. Rush production is 2 business days for a flat $50 fee on any order size.

Orders of $50 or more ship free (where most orders naturally land). Orders under $50 ship for a flat $12 in the lower 48 states, DC and Puerto Rico; Alaska and Hawaii have an additional shipping charge, quoted by email. Orders go UPS or USPS ground with tracking to all 50 states, usually 2–5 business days in transit, and leave our shop 4 business days after proof approval. Need overnight or 2-day air? Orders are printed or embroidered in our own shop in Ocean View, New Jersey, and ship UPS/USPS ground with tracking to all 50 states — free on orders of $50 or more to the lower 48 states, DC and Puerto Rico, $12 below; Alaska and Hawaii have an additional shipping charge, quoted by email.

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) give the cleanest results. High-res PNG at 300 DPI also works great, especially for DTF. Send what you have — if there's a problem we'll tell you immediately.

Yes. Placing your own logo or photo into a layout is free with your proof, and our AI Design Studio is free to use. Custom design from scratch is usually $45–$85 — describe what you need in the order notes and we'll quote it with your proof.

You don't have to. Screen print and DTF cost the same per piece, so we pick the method that looks best for your art and show it on your proof. Rule of thumb: solid-color logos at 24+ pieces go to screen printing; full-color art and small runs go to DTF.

Yes. Screens, stitch files, and artwork are all kept on file. Reorders skip setup entirely and usually ship a day or two faster than the original order.

Absolutely — it's a specialty. We decorate Carhartt tees, hoodies and jackets (quoted per order) and hi-vis workwear. Embroidery is the most popular choice for a durable, professional result. See our Carhartt embroidery page.

A one-time $55 fee per new logo converts your artwork into a stitch file, and it's waived on orders of 24 or more embroidered pieces. We digitize in-house. Every reorder of the same logo is free, forever — we keep it on file.

Yes — mixed sizes and mixed garments go right in the cart. Player numbers on the back are +$3 per printed shirt: tick the box in the cart and paste your roster (size + number). Names on each piece are quoted per order — email orders@harborsideprint.com. For orders of 12+, ask about our free size-collection sheet to make gathering team sizes painless.

Yes. Mix any sizes in one order: XS–6XL depending on the garment; each product page lists its sizes. Bigger sizes cost a little more because the blank does — on a Gildan 5000, 2XL +$4, 3XL–5XL +$6; every product page shows its own. That's an industry norm.

Yes — embroidered polos are one of our biggest categories. The Harriton M200 piqué and Gildan 8800 DryBlend are our everyday polos, with adidas, Under Armour and other brands in the shop. Left-chest logo is the industry standard. See our embroidery page for full pricing and blank options.

Yes. We embroider on Richardson 112 truckers, unstructured dad caps and performance caps. DTF works on some cap styles but embroidery is the durable pro choice. Same $55 one-time digitizing fee applies (waived on 24+ pieces).

We match your brand colors as closely as each method allows, and you see the match on your proof before anything prints. There's no per-color charge. If you need exact Pantone-matched screen ink, ask and we'll quote it before you order. DTF and embroidery match as closely as the standard ink and thread libraries allow.

On a Gildan 5000 with a one-color front print, delivered: 6 shirts $84, 12 shirts $144, 24 shirts $240, 50 shirts $450, 100 shirts $800 — every one of those is over $50, so shipping is free. Rush production is 2 business days for a flat $50 fee — any quantity, any print method. With ground shipping (usually 2–5 business days in transit), a rush order typically reaches you 5–8 business days after you order, if you approve the proof the day it arrives. Yes. We ship to all 50 states and Puerto Rico with tracking. Orders of $50 or more ship free to the lower 48 states, DC and Puerto Rico ($12 flat below). Alaska and Hawaii have an additional shipping charge: email orders@harborsideprint.com with your ZIP before you order and we will tell you the amount. If you check out first, we email you the charge before we start your order. Hawaii and Alaska add 1–2 business days to standard ground transit.

Screen printing pushes ink through mesh screens onto fabric — bold and vibrant, the classic for solid-color logos at 24+ pieces. DTF (direct-to-film) prints your design onto transfer film that's heat-pressed on — full color, best for small runs and photographic art. Screen print and DTF cost the same per piece. Embroidery stitches thread directly into the fabric — premium look, ideal for polos, hats, jackets, and workwear.

For 12–100 pieces (our sweet spot), you get a real proof from a person, human email replies and no setup fees. A printed Gildan 5000 is $12 a piece at 12, $10 at 24 and $7 at 250+, shirt included. Our comparison pages lay out what CustomInk, Printful and Vistaprint charge.

Because we invested in DTF (direct-to-film) equipment that has zero screen setup. Screen-only shops require 12–24 piece minimums because they need to recoup the screen-burning cost. DTF has no screens, so a small run has no setup cost to recover. That's why we can offer no minimum on quantity — one shirt clears the $20 order minimum. The per-piece price still falls as you order more.

No. We keep every screen, stitch file, and DTF art on file forever. Reorder the same design a year later and you pay only the per-piece cost — no setup, no digitizing fee. The $20 order minimum still applies. Just email us or use the reorder link in your original receipt.
