Camp FAQ
How much do custom camp shirts cost?
Printed Gildan 5000 camper tees are $9 each at 48, $8 at 100 and $7 at 250, any number of colors, shipped free at those totals; a Bella+Canvas 3001 soft tee adds +$3. Embroidered Harriton M200 staff polos are $21 each at 24 with the $55 digitizing waived. No setup fees.
How many camp shirts should I order?
One per camper and staff member, plus 5–10% spare in youth Large and adult Medium and Large for late enrollments and swaps — unclaimed spares sell in the camp store. Every color and size of the same style counts toward one quantity break, so sessions and tribes in different colors still price as one order.
Can parents buy camp shirts online?
Yes — open a free group store: up to six items, families pick sizes and pay by card over 7–30 days, and one box ships free to the camp when it closes. It needs 12 pieces to print (below that everyone is refunded automatically) and you can add a $0–$10 markup per item for the camp.
Do you print youth sizes for camp shirts?
Yes — youth XS–XL in the Gildan 5000B tee ($10 each at 48) and other youth styles in the shop. Youth and adult shirts go in one order and ship together; each style reaches quantity breaks on its own count.
How far ahead should I order for summer?
For staff apparel, 4–6 weeks before opening day is comfortable. For camper tees, 3–4 weeks before the session gives us room for proof revisions. If you're inside those windows, rush production (2 business days) is $50 flat; shipping still takes 2–5 business days by ground.
Can I add new hires to my staff order after it's placed?
Yes, and there's no minimum-order penalty. If we already have your artwork on file, a single new-hire polo can be added at the same quality ($12 flat shipping under $50, free on orders of $50 or more). Just email orders@harborsideprint.com.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or faith-based camps?
Our pricing is already volume-tiered — 100 pieces drops to $8 per shirt. For 501(c)(3) camps ordering annually, we can quote consolidated seasonal pricing on request. Email us with your 990 or letter of determination.
Can you print camper names on individual shirts?
Yes — camper first names, cabin numbers, or program tracks on each shirt are quoted per order before you pay. Send us the roster with sizes and we'll quote it.
What is the best shirt for summer camp?
For staff polos, the Harriton M200 piqué (durable, machine-washable, professional). For camper tees, Bella+Canvas 3001 (soft-feel, holds print through many washes). For hoodies, Comfort Colors 1567 (broken-in feel, camp classic). We'll recommend based on your budget and vibe on the free proof.
Do you keep our artwork on file year over year?
Forever. Print files, embroidery stitch files, blank preferences, sizing splits — all logged. Reordering next season means one email, and the proof is quick because everything is already on file.
What if we need US-made blanks for donor grants?
Ask before you order — we'll check which US-made blanks our supplier has in stock and quote them before you pay.
